Key Factors:
* Communciation of players.
* Quality of passing.
* Quality of movement from striker (stationary, diagonal runs, runs on and off of the ball, looking for a one two with midfilders.
* Link up play (upon progression), ability to read the game and team mates. Once the ball has been played in to the feet of No 9, can I combine or turn into space and shoot
* Technique - 1st touch, part of foot to control, quality and accuracy of passing and shooting.
* Shooting.
* Positive attitude - attempt to link up with team mate/s and get a shot in early (real game tempo).
Patterns for lik up
1 - Defender to midfield to striker
2 - Midfield to striker to midfield (midfielder upon successful completion of their pass to a striker, to combine and link up with the attack in order to overload and give more options).
3 - Counter attack (attacking team combine as a unit quickly and effectively to overload the attack and put the defending team on the back foot).
