Organization: As above. Multiple channels based on players. 5 players per channel. Balls at one end of channel. Three players in channel as above (A). Players rotate from on the ball, in the middle, and as the target player.
Instructions: First player takes a few touches in one direction (1) the middle player opens their body and checks to the wide area to receive a pass (2). Middle player then plays the target player (3) who dribbles the ball back to the line (4)
Coaching Points: 1) Good body shape to receive ball in the wide area by middle player 2) If you must take two touches, make sure it is a catch pass 3) Head up to make sure player knows where the pass is going
Progressions: 1) In activity (B) the players make the same rotation, but first player who passes the ball to middle player now challenges the target player on defense. Players score by stopping the ball on the line. 2) Middle player becomes a nuetral player, and they play 1v1+1 trying to stop the ball on the line. Nuetral players can score.
