1v1 Turning game
2 or 3 teams line up at each cones (depending on numbers) if 2 teams coach serves from the top cone.
Ball is played in to the center, at which point 1 player from each team attempts to run in and receive the ball and turn opponent to goal.

1. Body shape to turn (bend knees, get low, push off in opposite direction) 2. Awareness of ball, space, team mates and defender 3. Movements to receive and turn 4. Quality and type of pass 5. Warm up activity
20x20 Area with 2 corridors with small goal at end of each corridor. Players pass to attacker in the corridor, who performs a turn to score in the small goal. Passer then becomes attacker and attacker joins line.
PROGRESSION
1. Defender is introduced who can attempt to tackle the attacker. Defender starts at the goal and can move on attackers first touch. 2. Defender starts at the cones halfway and can move on attackers first touch.
Teach - Inside foot (across the body) and outside foot turns (turn outside)
