1V1 game: tackle counts as 1, shot off counts as 1, goal counts as 2.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Based on the 1v1 drill earlier on in the session. Players take it in turn to be the attacker, then once the shot is off or tackle is made - they immediately become the defender and the next person can advance through the cones.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Challenge: First team to 20.
Condition: Must wait for tackle to be made or shot off before advancing through cone.
Target: Beat player and then get a shot off. Either foot to shoot but must be ahead of defender.
Quick paced drill. Boys must be organised. One captain per team to keep scores.
Utilise strength, pace and creativity to beat the defender. Focus on player movement.
