1v1 Situations with a focus on breakaway scenarios and K Save or Sprawl technique. Also a focus on decision making in breakaway scenarios ie: when to challenge and when to hold your ground.

Side 1: Set 1 5 reps each side
-Starting on the right side, Goalkeepers will find angle and step in front of first cone and receive shot to hands
- Keeper will then step in front of the second cone on the same side to receive another shot to hands
- Same for other side
Purpose of this drill is to step out to create a better angle, forcing the keepers to step into set position instead of hop is also a key component of set 1.
Side 2: Set 2
-Keeper starts in between cones
- Shooter will take small first touch, while this is occurring keeper will find angle of shot, step out and prepare to get in set position. When the shooter head has gone down for the shot then the keeper will get in set position.
- First Set of reps (5 each side)you can only use feet, practicing K save technique and making yourself big with your bottom half
-Second set of reps, you can only use hands, practicing staying low and reaction saves
Goal: To attain the proper technique for when 1v1 and breakaways occur

In groups of 2, Goalkeepers with go through a series of serves to warmup both feet and hands. Each of which will start with the Goalkeeper behind the gate, then goalkeeper will step up to the gate and get set.
Set 1: 1 touch back
Set 2: 2 touch back
Set 3: Volley to hands
Set 4: Low serves from ground
