2 groups of passing patterns foucsing on 1 and 2 touch and the players first touch.

rondo (20 mins)

Fundamental Rondo: 10x10 grid

-Two groups of fundamental rondo. The focus is one 1 and 2 touch play and first touch. Combination play will be emphasized as well as vision.

-We will progress to a player who can check into the middle of the circle and help with possession.

Coaching points:

First line break: pass to the person next to you

Second line break: A pass the bypasses the person next to you and goes to the second person.

Third line break: This pass splits the defenders and penatrates the defense. This is the most devestaing pass to make. Requires great vision and soccer IQ.

moving rondo (20 mins)

Moving Rondo: 10x10 grid

-this is played just like fundamental rondo except once the group has 4 consecutive passes they play a ball to a runner into the next grid and the circle moves. They get 4 passes again the circle moves back.

-The emphasis will be moving as a unit and supporting the player with the ball.

3 team possession:

-The blue team and the white are in possession together. The red team is defending.

-If the white team turns the ball over, then white goes to defedning and the blue and red are in possession together.
