In Triangle, with 2 balls. Groups of 4-5. Chase game with players trying to catch ball in front of them. Can play each round for 1 minute. 

a: Dribble any surface x 3-4 sets

b: Dribble with laces only x 3-4 sets

c : Dribble with sole only x 3-4 sets

On coaches command, switch direction

2. Passing Pattern

a: Same pattern as above but now passing

Have a practice round and then competition trying to catch the ball in front

b. Progression to playing in a square, not a triangle, across half the court.

Possession with purpose

This activity will work on our patience in possession and the movement of the Pivot.

3v1 in defensive half, with 1v1 in attacking half. When 3 attacking players in defensive half play into the Pivot, 2 can join to make it a 3v1 in attacking half going to goal. 

Play 3 minute rounds and then rotate roles. 

Round 1: No coaching

Round 2: focus on the movement of the 3 to free up space and time for the player on the ball. Interchanging roles.

4v2 Full Court

4v2 full court transition

4v2 attacking, if defenders win ball, play out to 2 teammates at mid court to attack 4v2 going other direction. 2 defenders must track back to look to win ball back.

Players always start from middle when joining the game. To make team a 4, defenders must bring outside players in.
