Organization:
-Circle 30 yards in diameter
-3 or 4 players in middle at a time. Should have 3 groups.
-1 minute rounds, then switch inside with outside players.
Instructions:
See Progression 1: players in middle with ball.
See Progression 2: 4 players on outside with ball.
See Progression 3. 4 players on outside with ball.
Coaching Points:
(1). Quality and accuracy of passing to help the receiving players next action
(2). Receiving front foot for double pass, back foot for overlap.
(3). Awareness of the next action before it happens
(4). Timing of movement off the ball - checking to ball - opening up space - 3rd man runs
(6). Communication when passing - verbal physical ("turn", running into space)
Progressions:
-Progression 1: players in the middle get head up to find open player on outside, move away from player at an angle with open body shape, receive ball back.
-Progression 2: look to move into a "window" and receive the ball from an outside player. Outside player makes overlapping run on outside of middle player. Middle player replaces outside player's spot. Overlapping player receives pass and then plays to an open outside player. Stays in middle until ready to receive and hold for another overlap.
-Progression 3: Progression 1, but now inside player makes return pass to different outside player 1 over from outside player if possible. That player dribbles in to middle and middle player swap places.

Organization: 40x40 yd area. 2 teams of 4 and 3 neutral.
Instructions: 3 neutral players. 1 plays as neutral inside of area, and 1 on each length to support the play. Use target players to keep possession. Count passes out loud. 8 passes consecutively = 1 point.
Coaching Points:

Progressions: (1.) Possession game. Coach switches neutrals every 3 minutes. (2). Play 2 touch, 3 on an interception. (3). To goals. Red attacks north, blue attacks south. 8 passes is a point and 1 goal is a point.

40 x 30 area (wider than long).
4 mini goals placed in width.
3 teams of 4. Subs come in every 3 minutes.
Instructions:
Try and combine in wide areas to goal. Play back to player if pressure on and cannot turn.

Organization:
-13 cones. 1 area setup cones staggered 3 yards side to side, front to back. 1 area setup cones in line with 1.5 feet spacing between cones.
Instructions:
- Go twice through each time. Switch lines after each run through.
Coaching Points:
- Running the knees and light on our feet not stomping down. Balance and control of body.
Progressions:
Cone line:
(1). 2 feet in each
(2). Weave through shuffling side to side.
(3). 2 forward, 1 back through end.
(4). Around each cone figure 8s through the end.
Staggered:
(1). Side to side shuffling.
(2). Hopping 2 feet 1 forward, 1 back to the side.
(3). Hopping with control 1 cone to the next side to side (slow).
(4). Side to side but run around each cone.
