Organization:
1. 20x10 grids
2. Players split evenly
3. Plenty of balls
4. Mini goals at halfway line.
Instructions:
1. Same set up as previous.
2. Each group sends one player to defend in a different grid.
3. Defender is live as player A touches ball out of feet.
4. Attackers' objective: get ball from line 1 to line 3 and back to mini goal.
5. Defender: looks to score on mini goal if stealing ball from line 1.
6. Defender looks to run across line if stealing ball from line 3.
7. Ball must stay on ground, attackers play 2v1 on way back to goal.
Coaching Points:
1. First look should be forward (to penetrate).
2. If forward pass is not on, play short.
3. Check shoulder to observe space/pressure.
4. Decision-making: which technique to use based on pressure.
5. Movement of target player away to make triangle bigger.
6. Movement of target player back towards ball when ball reaches line 2.
Progressions:
1. Reduce area size if necessary.
2. Attacker with least amount of points defends next round.

Organization:
1. 20x10 grids.

5. GK in regulation goal.
Instructions:
1. Same game as previous with addition of GK.
2. One grid at a time to avoid multiple shots at GK at once.
3. Next grid starts when ball goes from 3rd line back to 2nd line in adjacent grid.
4. Rule: player B must take shot, player C must touch ball at some point before shot.
Coaching Points:
1. Ability to penetrate.
2. Movement beyond the ball.
3. Movement underneath the ball.
4. Recognition of defender's run and angle of approach.
5. Speed of play - pick head up to see options sooner.
Progressions:
1. Ensure groups rotate to work in left, central, and right grids.

1. Half field.
2. Three teams.
Instructions:
1. 6v6 + GKs.
2. Free play, regular restarts.
3. Two teams play, one team rests.
4. 3 minutes/2 goals.
5. Winning team stays on.

Organization:

Instructions:
1. Player A starts with a ball.
2. Player B checks to a side.
3. Player C moves to the opposite side.
4. Player A passes to B.
5. If defender blocks the lane, player B opens up to then play forward.
6. If defender is tight, player B clips ball around the corner to player C.
7. Rotation: player A defends, defender becomes Player B, Player B becomes C.
Coaching Points:
1. Checking movement to create space.
2. Weight and accuracy of pass.
3. Body shape - position of hips.
4. Ability to receive on back foot (when possible).
5. Ability to play ball first time around the corner (when necessary).
6. Looking over the shoulder to recognize space/pressure.
Progressions:
1. Ensure players work on both sides (checking both left and right).
2. Limit defender's movement as needed.
