Mobility

Warmup - 5-7 minutes 

20m distance 

Coaching Points:

-four groups to keep players in movement

- Always easy jog on return to the start

- Jog forward, backward, side shuffle, skip arms overhead, skip arms across chest

- Walking knee hug, walking quad stretch, walking lunge with overhead reach

- Open the hip, close the hip, hamstring scoop and kick through

- Power skips for distance

- 3 build up acceleration runs (70,80,90%) walk back

Coaching Points:


Allocate one server

-simple pass and return the move to back of line

-focus on getting players comfortable on the ball

progress to two touch/one touch to increase speed and intensity as required

-add headers, volleys, chest and control and return as appropriate

-rotate servers every 60s
