Build up on opponents half (25 mins)

Organization:

  • 5v4+GK, as explained before, promoting 2v1s, building up in opponents half, and possibility of swith fields...35x35, plenty of extra balls for fluidity, and plenty of opportunity for repetiton of session goal

Instructions:

  • Start with target team at 50, passing/dribbling forward, creating passing options, and movement off the ball creates space for teamates or ball to be played into

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • How can we switch the point of attack?  Where are the opening and how can we find them? How can we help the player on the ball?

Regressions/Progressions:

  • Could swicth difficulty by adding or taking away players, or adjusting the size of the field or adding a center goal for opposing team
