Shadow Play (5 mins)

The first part of this drill is for Team A to shuffle across in 'front' of Team B and Team C. Team A will not engaged in trying to block or tackle they will just shuffle across keeping the distances between the players consistent shadowing as the ball moves across.

Chance and Shoot (15 mins)

Team B and Team C will now look to pass between each other and at pace whilst Team A will work as they did in the previous shadow play part of the drill but they are looking to block any shots on goal.

Attack the Goal (15 mins)

Team B and Team C will now look to pass between each other and at pace whilst Team A will work as they did in the previous shadow play part of the drill but they are looking to engage with the attacking team to stop them playing and creating a chance on goal.

Team B and C will interplay at pace to create the chance. Team A will shuffle, keep gaps consistent and defend the goal.

The goalkeepers will need to be alert and using cognitive technique to track the ball and be prepared for shots on goal.
