Unlimited variations and possibilities
Progressions
1. On coach's shout, end group transfers ball across to opposite side, with penetrating pass to an open player.

Playing out of the back - defending the cross
One team (RED) passes around back 4, using DCM as a link
When ball goes wide, full back crosses the ball for other team to defend (BLUE).
If ball still in play, keep playing. If ball goes dead, restart with opposite team and change roles.
PROGRESSIONS
1. DCM can attack the cross to try and score
2. DCM and full back not crossing the ball can attack the cross to score

Full field passing patterns
Starting with GK, players pass around as shown, at game tempo. Second ball is released when first ball gets to #5.
Repeat opposite side, with GK's first pass to other CB.
Rotate players, vary the patterns
Screen 1
Simple Passing in team shape (warm up)
Back 4 + DCM in each side. Players pass around back using DCM as a link. Any variation and link possible.
Progressions
1. On coach shout, find penetrating pass to opposite DCM. Emphasis on good passing lane, breaking lines with pass
2. On coach shout, release full backs on either side (1 or 2). Players work the ball to whatever number the coach calls, those full backs dribble over half way and join with opposite side. (Example, if 2 is called, RED right back will dribble across half way and join with blues to become their left back. BLUE left back dribbles across halfway and joins with reds to become their right back)
