- Wide trap #2 and #3
- Central trap with their #6
- 2 CB's pressed by the CF #9
- FB's pressed by the WF #7 / #11
- If can't win it at #2 / #3, force into their #6 and win it

Pressing in a 3
Attacking team try to move the ball side to side and play into the wide goals when possible. The defending team try to deny space for attacking team to score and step and win the ball when possible.
Coaching points:
- #7 / #11 press the wide FB
- Curve run to deny pass down the line
- #9 presses the CB's

Pressing from the front
Attacking team try to score by passing into the Target players. The defending team try to win the ball and score into the goal.
Coaching points:
- Press as a group
- Deny a pass down the line
- Force central when wide players are pressing
- High intensity off the ball

Player 1 passes to Player 2. The closest defender will press the ball and deny a ball into the Target player. After the pass has been cut off down the line, a regular 2 v 2 to endline game is played.
Coaching points:
- Quick shift to deny early forward pass
- Curved run to stop pass
- 2nd defender needs to provide cover for 1st defender
- 1 v 1 defending skills
- Ruthless / Selfless mindset
