Structure:
B runs towards A in order to receive a pass. B receives the ball in a closed fh position (back to the goal) and then moves into position to scores with the low BH. B then leads towards C and receives a ball closed. B dummies moving to his left and then moves to the right to setup a low backstick shot at goal. Rotations: A-B-C-A. Exercise setup in 3 goal areas, 6 players per exercise.
Pointers:
B runs to the ball, first receives closed, but allows the ball to move across his body on his fh and at the same time runs into an open position to the right.
Pancake grip, with a short backswing from his wrists and hit off the left foot.
Open body (rotate hips) when hitting the ball.
Use body to sell defender after receiving the ball from C.
C then hits off left foot whilst rolling (fall onto left shoulder and roll on floor)
Variation:
+ Add a defender

Structure:
A dribbles (fh) diagonally into the circle, as he is goes past the first post he takes a low bh shot at goal,. A continues running and receives a ball from B. A open receives and takes a high bh shot at goal. A and B change positions. Exercise setup in 3 goal areas, 6 players per exercise.
Pointers:
From the fh dribble tap the ball into space, change of grip during step out behind the ball (pancake grip).
Try reducing the time taken to change the grip.
Upright bh hit, stick moves in a half moon rotation for the backswing.
Variation:
+ Second scoring action happens from an acute angle.

Structure:
A passes to B. B dribbles into the circle and has to hit a backstick shot at goal before and inside the two cones inside the circle. B then runs to the back of the line, B takes A's place to receive a pass from C. Scoring team has to get through as many shots as possible in two minutes. Blue team has to collect balls and ensure that orange team does not run out of balls during their turn. Team's rotate and blue side then has a chance to score while orange team collects balls.
Pointers:
High intensity.
Set scoring zones inside the goal. If players scores in this zone, 10 seconds is added to their time.
1 point for every goal scored.
Change angle of shot in the circle.

Learning the backstick hit
Structure:
Player A starts just inside the D facing Player B.
Player B starts at the Beacon and passes a ball to the Forehand of Player A.
Player A shoots using the backstick shot.
Player B moves into Player A's position and Player A goes to the back of the line.
Exercise to be setup in 3 goals, 6 players per exercise.
Pointers:
Receiving the ball to shoot Backhand is vital, placing the ball in the right zone for the shot.
After receiving the ball, you need to bring your hands together at the top of the stick.
Pancake grip
Round side of the stick moves in a low plane along the ground.
The ball is hit in the middle of the inside blade of the stick.
Variation:
+ Backhand shot while moving.
