Focus Points
How quickly can we transition in and out of possession, can we get maximum pressure to the ball? How do we use the overload of attackers and the underload of defenders.

Ice Hockey- Three teams of 4, again adapt numbers if needed, one team that is off can use the small area (beware of the hockey going on behind them) to practice. Play for 1 minute and then rotate.
The area behind the goal is a safe area that only the attacking team can go into, it allows them to try and find a pass or dribble that will create a goal scoring opportunity.
Adaptions
Add small D's so we don't get players just standing int he goal.
Change the area, add sidelines to narrow the pitch up.
Add a points system, passes or tackles in a row, equals goals.

Sideline Practice- taking free hits from the sideline, you can also take them from the long corner spot if you like. How do we get the ball in the D, what movement on and off the ball needs to take place for us to create goal scoring oppourtunities?

Your own 20 minutes, to work on short corners, set piece (16's) or play a small sided game.

Warm Up: 6.00-6.10pm
1) Possession Game- simple, keep the ball for a number of passes, this can be adapted to points scored for:
A) putting it on a foot (working on winning free hits)
B) number of successful 1st touch passes (working on moving the ball quickly and pre-scan)
C) lifted passes (working on trapping bobbling balls)
.
2) Goals Game- simple, if we have mini goals then great, if not just use cones for goals. Similar to the above, you can add rules in to adapt the game.
.
3) Piggy in the Middle- just make a square or a cross, put someone in the middle and keep the ball away from them.
.
4) D Games- we have a list of alternatives:
A) King of the D, simple keep the ball away from the King, they try to knock the ball out of the area and if successful, you join them.
B) Cops and Robbers, simple keep the ball away from the Robbers, they are looking to steal your ball (not just knock it away) and after a set period of time, those without a ball have lost.
C) Kings, Queens, Jacks, harder to explain but my favourite. Kings have a stick and ball, Queens have a stick and no ball, Jacks have no stick and no ball. Jacks tag the Queen and take their stick, they become Queens. Queens try to stay away from the Jacks and tackle the Kings to steal their ball.
