Dribbling/Running with the ball - Warm up - Endurance (15 min)
Set Up: Area set up as above, area can be adjusted depending on age and ability. Players start by running with the ball, then turning around cone and dribbling in and out of cones, as soon as player has turned to start dribbling the next player will start to run with the ball, players to keep heads up and be aware of traffic in the middle
Progressions: Use weaker foot only, cones closer together for dribbling
Coaching Points: Running with ball, Endurance, Dribbling, Ball control, Awareness , Decision making (what to do when meets another player in the middle)

Ball Work & Finishing (15 min)
Players dribble throught poles & finish on goal. Left live shoot with Right, Right line shoots with Left. Rotate lines ea 4 min
CP: Game Speed, quick turns, accelerate away from turns, focus on finishing-not just shooting
Variation: Add creativity (Shots off outside of foot, wrap feet around the ball to bend at far post, etc.)

2 v 1 Progressing to 4 v 2 Attacking Principles (15 min)
Set Up: D players play driven ball to A player then play pressure cover. Attacking players use combination play to create scoring chances. Start with each side of goal playing 2 v 1- rotate groups each 2 min. After 3 rotations, progress to 4 v 2. Minimum of 3-5 touches before finishing.
Variations: Limit toches to 3, 15 seconds to score
Coaching Points: Encorage penetration behind the back line, Hips & shoulders to target, Communication

Expanded Sm Sided Game (15 min)
Set-up a pitch suitable for a SSG (6v6), all players must be in the attacking half before teams can shoot.
Sm Sided Game No Restrictions (15 min)
Teams must have every outfield player in their opponent’s half to score. This forces players to move up and down the field throughout.
