Practice design;
Type of practice: Skill
Description/organisation: The 30x30 will be divided into four squares. 3 squares will be used, with 4 players in each square, one pair at a time, alternating turns. The players closest to the centre of the 30x30 area will start as the defenders, they will start with the ball and make a short diagonal pass into their opponent's feet. They must then follow their pass to initiate a 1v1 situation where the attacker must dribble past/away from the defender to reach the lines inside the 30x30 area, indicated in blue. Where the ball goes dead/out of player/tackled or reaching the target line, the next pair begin their drill.
Progressions/regressions: A progression would be that instead of the ball going dead once the defender tackles the attacker, the defender then becomes an attacker and must attempt to reack their taget lines indicated in green(the edges of the 30x30 area).

Overview;
Player information: U11, 12 players.
Session topic: Dribbling
Learning objectives: To improve confidence to retain possession and keep close control of the ball.
Order of practices: Technical, Skill, SSG.
Pitch layout: 30m x 30m
Equipment: All 12 players have a ball each, disk markers used to mark out various areas, cones for gates.
Type of practice: Technical
Description/organisation: Each player finds a ball (already in space within the area), the players should have close-control of the ball as they move around the area, attempting to go through gates on the way round. The area is purposefully small to force players into unopposed tight areas. The range of gate sizes challenges players.
Progressions/regressions: Players being conditioned to various things like only using their weaker foot, using different surfaces of the foot e.g. inside, outside, laces etc.
