Animation 1

Station 1: Dribbling

???? Setup:

  • 10 cones in a straight line, spaced ~1 yard apart.
  • Players dribble through using both feet and different surfaces of the foot.

???? Execution:
1️⃣ Inside-Outside Dribble – Right foot only.
2️⃣ Inside-Outside Dribble – Left foot only.
3️⃣ Quick Toe Taps & Rollovers – Increase speed while keeping control.
4️⃣ Freestyle – Players mix different touches while moving forward.

???? Coaching Points:
✔ Keep the ball close to feet.
Head up while dribbling.
✔ Use both feet to develop balance and control.

Station 2: Passing

???? Setup:

  • Players work in pairs about 8-10 yards apart.
  • Use flat cones to mark distance.

???? Execution:
1️⃣ 1 Minute – Right foot passing (firm, accurate).
2️⃣ 1 Minute – Left foot passing.
3️⃣ 1 Minute – One-touch passing (both feet, quick reactions).
4️⃣ 1 Minute – Lofted passes (chip/lift ball slightly off the ground).

???? Coaching Points:
✔ Use proper passing technique (lock ankle, firm strike).
✔ Focus on accuracy & weight of the pass.
✔ Keep body balanced when using weaker foot.

Station 3: Shooting

???? Setup:

  • Players line up outside the 18-yard box (or closer for younger players).
  • Coach or teammate plays a ball into their path.

???? Execution:
1️⃣ 1 Minute – Right foot shooting.
2️⃣ 1 Minute – Left foot shooting.
3️⃣ 1 Minute – First-time finishes (no extra touch).
4️⃣ 1 Minute – Power vs. Placement (choosing different finishing techniques).

???? Coaching Points:
Plant foot next to the ball and strike cleanly.
Head over the ball to avoid skying shots.
Encourage composure over just power.

Station 4: First Touch (Out of the Air)

???? Setup:

  • Players work in pairs, tossing the ball to each other.
  • Can be done standing or lightly moving.

???? Execution:
1️⃣ 1 Minute – Left foot control out of the air.
2️⃣ 1 Minute – Right foot control out of the air.
3️⃣ 1 Minute – Thigh trap into pass (settle, then pass).
4️⃣ 1 Minute – Chest trap into pass (control, then play).

???? Coaching Points:
Stay relaxed – don’t rush the touch.
Let the ball drop slightly before controlling.
Direct first touch away from pressure.

Rotation & Organization:

???? Players rotate stations every 4 minutes (30-60 sec transition).
