This session is intended to transition us to passing and more soccer related movements in our RTP. Players are socially distanced and wearing masks.
Pod 1 - Daisy Martinez, Alisha Garcia, Jackzeny Mancilla, Jocelyn Lopez, Jazzmin Garcia, Jazzmin Thompson, Kendel Gisin.

Dynamic Stretches
1. Legs apart, bounce L, C, R (5x)
2. Calves 1, 2, 3 switch (2x each leg)
3. Knee to chest into Figure 4 with footwork in between (2x each)
4. Quad strech with footwork in between (2x each)
5. Speed skater with footwork in between (2x each)
6. Spiderman/Rollback (4x each)
7. Reverse RDL + Reverse lunge + Overhead reach (4x each)
8. Open/Close the Gate (4x each)
9. Lateral lunge (2x each)
10. Squat Jumps (4x each)

Objective: creating attacking shape
Organization: 6v6 grid with 4 players. Defender must stay in 3x3 grid in the middle.
Instructions: play 3v1 keep away. NO CONTACT. Defender must stay in center grid.
Variations: (1) keep score, (2) limit touches.
Coaching Points:
1. Proper shape
2. Body shape
3. Receiving it open if possible.

Objective: improve our aerobic fitness.
Set-Up: half field space of 60 yards
Instructions: players have 20 seconds to go 60 yards. This is about a 50-60% pace. Then rest 60 seconds. Repeat 6x.
Coaching Points: (1) stride it out, (2) 60% pace.

Objective: to allow for the return of pre-exercise HR, improve relaxation and flexibility.
Intensity: VERY LOW
Instructions: follow coach-led static stretches, yoga stretches and breathing exercises.

Objective: to improve quality of passing and receiving as well as movement without the ball.
Set-up: 10x10 grids. 4 players per grid.
Instructions: start with 4v0. 2 touch mandatory. Go for 1 minute then rest 1 minute.
Variations: turn it into a competition. Who can get the highest total of correctly executed passes and balls receive across body.
Coaching Points:
1. Quality of passing;
2. Receive ball across body;
3. Bend at the knees to receive the ball, toe up and heel down;
3. Movement into supporting positions
