Skill (20 mins)

Set Up

3 x players on cones with extra balls, cones placed either side of goal with another placed 20 yds out in line with middle of the goal with a pole 5 yds in front of it.

The drill starts when the attacker runs through the gates, P1 plays the ball across the goal to the attacker for the player to hit first time, the attacker then turns backs up several yds and calls to P2 for the next ball, this is crossed in and the attacker is to respond to the cross, whether its a volley, header or shot. He then turns, sprints around the pole and P3 plays a through ball for the attacker to run on to and shoot.

Rotate the players to ensure that all players have opportunities in all positions.
