2. Pass & Move: Player in possession passes to an open player on a pancake and moves into a new space to receive the ball. After the initial pass, players to focus on combinations of straight pass/diagonal run & diagonal pass/straight run

Organisation:
Description:
Working with the team in possession, the team should look to maintain possession utilising the heavy overload. Through making the pitch big to create space, when in possession players should look to exploit space created to support the player on the ball. The team out of possession should look to stay compact and prevent passes through the middle of the area. If the team out of possession (blue) win the ball, they secure possession by passing to any of the outside neutrals. The roles then swap with the blues then being the team in possession.

Description:
Working with the team out of possession and underloaded in a 2v3 situation, the defenders must look to protect the goal whilst recognising moments to engage the opposition. If the defending pair win the the ball and keep it in play, they can attack the opposite goal. The practice is a conditional wave game where if the team in possession (red) score, the next play starts with them in possession again. If the team out of possession (blue) prevent the reds from scoring, the next play starts with the blues in possession.

Organisation
Description:
Working in a practice that aims to fatigue players due to high tempo and draw out decision making in moments of both attacking and defensive transitions. Coach to have all footballs on the side of the area and immediately serves in a new ball every time it goes out of play - no throw ins, set pieces etc. When a new ball is served in, teams are to be coached to recognise when to counter attack or secure possession (in possession) versus counter press or regain shape (out of possession).
