Ball Mastery/Physical Literacy(10 mins)
PhysicalLiteracy 3-4 min General movements
3min ball contact warm-up
Equipment Used: Balls, Cones
Jogging 30 sec: Jog in any direction.
Lateral Movement 30 sec: move in any direction to any object sideto side without clicking your heels
Move backward 30 sec: keep low, check your shoulders to see whereyou are going, and change direction.
One Foot Hops 30 sec: look to jump over as many objects as you can,switching feet (left/right)
Two Foot jumps 30 sec: big jumps over as many objects as you can
Clear the playing area: Dribble - 2min Use one ball dribble fora min lots of touches on the ball left and right foot, inside and out, do aturn using different parts of the feet

Organization: 8-10min
Set up : cones, balls, 25m 20m (grid size to match players abilities)
Activity: Half the group of players have a ball, and half without. The player with the ball looks to find an open team mate thy can pass to. Passing players are looking for players that ready for a pass ( communication, in open space) Once the player passes the ball they have to get out of the grid. (3 secs) They can not look to run out at the closet cone.
Players that look to receive the ball must do so with their back foot and look to take a good first touch into to space.
Every time you receive the ball with your back foot you get a point.

Numbers Game
Organization:20 x 25m (adjust to players needs)
Pug nets on each side, one line on each End line
Have the coach number off each player on each team starting from 1. When a
coach puts a ball in play, they will call a number, that will signal the players that
it is their turn to try to get the ball and score.
Try to call more than 1 number, to encourage the opportunity of passing and receiving.
If no success, change activity to a 2v1 or 3v1 to promote passing and receiving.

Objective: to pass or dribble past opponents, create chances, and score goals - have fun!
Organization: set up two fields, each 18x15, adjust to players needs.
Equipment: Pug nets, balls, pinnies, cones.
