Develop rotational movement between individuals bothinside and outside of the central zone, to create spaceto exploit.

This practice focuses on player’s rotational movementto create space in a central area, reacting to winningpossession through quick transition. With a 30 by 30Yard playing area and a 15 by 15 Yard centralpossession zone, 4 players must keep possessionagainst 2 defenders. When possession is won, playcan breakout with 4 support players creating a 6 v 4.
Progress by constraining those inpossession in the 4 v 2 to rotate after each 5 passsequence, through effective verbal and non-verbalcommunication between teammates.
Our 2ndprogression allows our defending team to rotate, an increasing challenge for those in possession withpossible pressure coming from behind.

This practice develops passing and movement withquick, short sharp combinations in tight spaces off thestriker. With players in each corner of the square,player 1 plays a square pass to player 2, who thenpasses into the striker to set player 1 who crossesover with player 2. Once connected, a pass is playedthrough to the opposite pair who will repeat the sequence in the opposite direction.Think about further progressions including a 1-2 in thecorners, around the corner, passes, and much more.
