When and Where to pass -
20 x 20 grid with 4 end zones.
Grid split into 4 quadrants by the in the centre of the pitch.
Blue team working in opposing directions and reds also working in opposing directions
-Teams have to get the ball from one end zone to the other.
-All three of the players must touch the ball between getting from one end zone to the other.
-Player who passes the ball to the player in the end zone cannot receive the ball straight back.
-Rotate the players in the end zones as necessary.
Progression -
-If the players need to be challenged, then make it complulsory to always receive the ball in a different quadrant than the previous time.
Key Points -
-Keep emphasising key points from technical
-Where and when to pass, what is the best option for me to get the ball efficiently to the other side of the grid.
-Accuracy of passing by focusing on target and following through in this direction

Game -
-Normal game with a maximum of 3 touches.
-Players are forced to have a good first touch and move the ball quickly.
Conditions (if required) -
- Number of passes before shooting
- Every player must touch the ball before shooting
- 5 passes counts as a goal
Technical (15 mins)
Passing & Moving Drill -
Small square in the middle with cones around the perimeter of the playing area.
Players on outside cones are there to receive and push ball into space
-Players in the middle have to dribble through the square, find a receiver and play a 1-2. Collect ball, dribble through the square and repeat.
-Important for receiving player to get the first touch out of their feet.
-Swap the groups so both have the chance of being in the outside and inside groups.
Progression -
Apply some pressure to the players by introducing a defender in the small square and the larger area

-Receiving - First touch out of your feet
-Passing -Look at target then focus on the ball
-Strike the centre of the ball with the inside of the foot
-Follow through in direction of target
-Head up looking for open players
-Eye contact/communication when receiving the ball back
