This rondo is working on thedefensive movement to close down the offensive patterns and recognition ofopportunities to win the ball in defending play defending on and away from theball (orange team) out of possession, looking to close the spaces in thedefense (orange team) in the area by forcing the attacking player with the ballinto a situation where we are numbers up and the play is either forced out ofbounds or we win the ball and counter to the other side when the opportunitypresents itself. We want to make theplay of the attacking players predictable. This activity is Omni-directional 15 minutes in duration (4 x 3 minuteswith 1 minute rest and changeover). Whenthe ball is lost to the orange team, how quickly can the orange team get theball to the next square and put the redteam in a defending situation and the red team to gain possession back from theblue team and/or how long can they be out of possession defending. As before inpossession of the ball trying to foster quick movements of the ball, playerwith the ball needs to play with their head up looking for open players to movethe ball to. Players without the ballmust be looking to recognize space, get into that space, have an idea wherethey want to go to next, have a back up plan if the first and second option arecut off. Defensively, the intensity hasto be high as the movement of the ball should be quick, with a change of speedbased what they the defenders have set up. The immediate pressing should always have an angle to the ball in thisactivity so that the ball does not get played to where there is no cover thatcan rotate to the player receiving the ball and leaving that player now on theball without an option once they receive it.

This rondo is working on the defensive movement to close down the offensive patterns and recognition of opportunities to win the ball in defending play defending on and away from the ball (orange team) out of possession, looking to close the spaces in the defense (black team) in the area by forcing the attacking player with the ball into a situation where we are numbers up and the play is either forced out of bounds or we win the ball and counter to the other side when the opportunity presents itself. We want to make the play of the attacking players predictable. This activity is Omni-directional 15 minutes in duration (4 x 3 minutes with 1 minute rest and changeover). When the ball is lost by the orange team, how quickly can the black team get the ball to the next square and put the orange team in a defending situation with the blue team in possession and the orange team to gain possession back from the blue team and/or how long can they be out of possession defending.
