Aim is to get the ball from one outside player in your group (i.e. blue) to the other, using two touches.
Progression: Player on the outside switches with player inside.

Exercise starts with ball with goalkeeper who distributes out to the attacking team (blue) to create a 2v1 with the defender (yellow) recovering.
After the phase of play has finished, the attackers and defender continue into the next phase straight away + one waiting striker who joins with a through ball by the coaches from the side, creating a 3v2.
Progressions:
- Start from 1v0 moving onto 2v1
- Progress to 2v1 moving onto 3v2
- Progress to 3v2 moving onto 4v3.

8v8 - Only fullbacks can score in yellow team.
Aim: Once fullbacks have scored, an early restart of the game from their defensive flank means they must backtrack at speed.

8v7. Yellows must try to find target man.
- Can the defence keep a high line?
- No intervals between in phase of play so as to force the defence to have to react and adjust depending on events.
