Method:

The playing area is split into 3 sections.

3 targets of 3 cones in a line are in the smaller sections.

The team in possession (GREEN) must attempt to pass thru the defensive line (PINK) to hit one of the targets.

Players cannot drop behind the white line.

The defensive team must work to close gaps and read the play, blocking attempted thru' passes.

If having blocked thru' pass then defending team can take their turn to try hit other teams target.

Coaching Points:

Defending team to communicate clearly with each other.

Defenders to remain on their toes and attempt to read thru' passes, closing down space.

Size of the playing area can be increased/decreased to adjust difficulty.

Number of players in each half can be changed.
