Method: Coaching session 15 mins.
Outline to players orientation, reason for session and what is expected. 2 Mins free play before coaching for 10 mins.11 V 11 paired back to 8 v 6, coaching the 8 players in red playing out from the back.
Goal keeper, 2 centre halves, 2 full backs, a 6,8 & 10.
Objective of the red team is to play it out in the narrow field as outlined with white lines and score a goal at mid field. T2D if ball lost.
Re-start with red keeper each time ball goes dead, throws to be taken. Focus on orientation - make sure players re-set to starting positions !.
3 Mins at end for de-brief/Q&A
Coaching Points: All players to have open bodies to receive ball. Keeper moves to the same side of the goal where he has passed to the centre half, and rest of team on the opposite side shift over too. 6 to come short at an angle to allow the full back play through the gap created to the 10 or to receive the ball.
Blue striker is encourage to make arcing run at centre half once pass is made by keeper, cutting off back pass to keeper and pushing centre half out wide.
If Blue team win the ball they are trying to score on red goal, red team transition to defence.

Method: Match 25 mins + 5 min warm down.
11 V 11 with red team lining up in a narrow channel through the middle. Commence with red keeper each time ball goes dead. Take throw ins, corners etc as normal. Both teams encouraged to transition and score.
Coaching Points: Red team to focus on narrow play following the coaching session.
Warm down at end to focus on light jogging and stretches.

Method: Warm up for 15 mins. Consisting of a) 8 mins light jogging, stretching, fartlek and more strenuous stretching . 7 Mins groups of 5 - 4 players around the square, each with a ball, one player in the middle; ball starts outside the box, player calls the name of the person in the middle and passes quickly, middle person receives and plays back - as he is playing it back another person (no sequence) starts another pass etc etc - Rotate players so that each person gets a go in the middle, set up as many groups/boxes as needed.
Coaching Points: Emphasis on strong direct passing with receiver having an open body position and passing back to team mate of choice.
