Approximately 45 x 50 Grid
Play starts with the goalkeeper Who is positioned in a zone just in front of the goal. Only the GK is allowed in this zone.
The objective of the blue team is to play out from their keeper and pass to the bouncer on the halfway line without losing possession of the ball.
When the blue team scores, the coach plays to the yellow team. The yellow teams objective is to keep possesion using the end bouncerand the goalkeeper and hit the feet of both without losing possession.
Once yellows have scored, the play then restarts again with the blue team’s goalkeeper and the exercise is repeated.
GK and bouncer cannot play direclty to each other.
Progression
Remove the GK's zone and all players can no go in to the GK's area.
Coach to drive the intensity of the blue team to press more aggressively making it harder to play out.
Make the field smaller.
Team Task
Build the play from the Goalkeeper and play forward into the opponents half.
Player Task's
GK - Can you look for overloads in our numbers i.e 2v1, 3v2 situations to improve our chances of playing out? Play to the side where we have the most players.
Can you pass or roll it to your team mate so they can take thier first touch forward?
Once you've played to a team mate, can you get in a position to support them if they are forced to play backwards?
3&4 Can you get side on and face forward as an early option for the GK?
Can you carry the ball into the midfield if you have time and space?
Can you open up a direct passing option to our 6 or 8 if they are able to recieve directly from the GK?
6 & 8- Can you position yourself so you can see the ball and the end bouncer?
If you are tightly marked and one of our has the ball, can you come short towards the ball and leave space in behind for a team mate?

Can we look to play in front of our team mates so they can take there first touch forward and play forward?
Can you position your body so you can see the ball and the end bouncer
Can we play the longest forward pass on offer?
Can we get our body shape right early so team mates can play to us quickly.

Half pitch
Drop off zone applies to 18 yard box, blue team can't enter until first pass is made from the GK
GK + 6 v 6 and one joker, in black.
Most plays start with the GK playing to the Yellow team.
The yellow teams objective is to score in any of the 3 small goals on the half way line.
The blue team score in the big goal.
The coach alternates some start of play to the blue team.
Progressions

Make area smaller
Coach Increase intesity of the blue teams pressure on the ball
Team Task
