Set Up:
- 16 x Players
- 16 x Soccer Balls
- 3 x Color Bibs / Shirts
- 20 x Cones
Grid Size:
- 3 x 20 x 12mtrs
Duration:
- 25 mins
Instructions:
- Players are set into 3 teams 5 V 5 attackers V 6 Defenders
- Both Attacking teams set up in either end zone (A & C)
- Defensive team sets up in Middle Zone (B)
- Play starts on coaches instruction with attacking team in Zone A
- 3 x Defenders enter the zone A and try and win the ball back to score a goal
- 3 x Defenders take up rest positions in the zone B
- Attacking team pass the ball ( using Combination play) until an opportunity arises to play a penetrating pass along the ground through zone B into Zone C
- The 3 rest defenders transition to try and with the ball back to score a goal in Zone C while defenders from zone A take up rest defensive position in zone B
- Attackers in Zone C pass the ball ( Using Combination play ) until an opportunity arises to play a penetrating pass along the ground through zone B back to Zone A.
- Defenders transition back to Zone B and game continues
- 5 x Defenders swap with 1 x attacking team every 4 mins. (90sec rest)
- If ball leaves playing area play restarts with coach playing ball in from sideline.
Coaching Points:
- Can you play a forward penetrating pass
- Can you position yourself to receive the ball from a team mate.
- Be brave
- Be inventive
- Open body position to see and play forward if possible.
- Defenders try and win the ball back as quickly as possible.
Set Up / Down
- Increase / decrease field size
- Increase / Decrease defender numbers allowed in Zone A & B
- Increase / Decrease rest defenders involvement / intensity in area B.

Instructions
Players are to pass the ball using various techniques to their team mates to attempt to penetrate lines and receive the ball with controlled possession in the end zone.
If successful the game starts with the scoring team in their end zone.
The defending team are to attempt to win the ball and also score by passing the ball into the end zone with Controlled possession . If successful the game re starts with them in their end zone.
Bouncer is always on the attacking team.
Bouncer changes out every 4 mins.
Coaching Points:
Attacking team
- Can you position yourself to receive the ball and play a forward penetrating pass
- If you can not play forward Secure the ball, Protect the ball and explore options
- Move the ball quickly
- Scan for time, Space Opponent position and team mates position
- Eyes up
- Angled runs along with angled passes are most effective
- Passing weight is important
- Get you get into a position where the opponent can not see you and the ball.
- Be brave
Defensive team:
- Can you deny the opponent the opportunity to play a forward pass
- Can you win the ball back as quickly as possible and counter attack
- In BPO make the ground as small as possible.

- 2 x teams 8 V 8 + GK for Defending Team
- 1 x Large Goal
- 4 x Small Goals
- 16 x Balls
- 2 sets x colored Bibs

Instructions:
- Attacking Team running toward large goal use formation 2, 3, 3 (8 x players). Defending team running toward small goals use formation 1,4,3,1 (1 x GK + 8 x players)
- Play starts with the GK who plays a long ball to the attacking team.
- Defending team keep a high defensive line as shown in diagram
- Attacking team progress the ball toward goals by using various passing techniques along with 1 v 1 Skill and attempt to score.
- Defending team attempt and win the ball back as quickly as possible and score in any of the 4 x small goals
- Defending Team are not to enter the defensive Shaded area.
- Some players swap from attacking to defending after 12 mins as per coaches instruction.
Attacking team
- Can you position yourself to receive the ball and play a forward penetrating pass
- If you can not play forward Secure the ball, Protect the ball and explore options
- Move the ball quickly
- Scan for time, Space Opponent position and team mates position
- Eyes up
- Be creative in the front 3rd to help pull opponents out of defensive shape.

- Bouncer is always on the attacking team and can score a goal
- Players attempt to score a goal when in possession using various passing techniques and combination play along with 1V1 actions.
- Defending team try and win the ball back as quickly as possible and if / when successful attempt to score a goal
- If / when a goal is scored play re-starts with goal scoring teams GK.
- Players attempt forward penetrating passes
