Red starts on one yellow marker, green starts one the market a little farther back. Red plays to the center Red player who trys to turn and score on the North small goal.Green steps to deny red from turning, the other green next up in group steps up to support behind. They then play 1v2, if Green win the ball they score on south small goal.
Progression: Serving red player joins in for 2v2. Highest green player to start does not step and we just create a low block infront of the small. First yellow marker is line of confrontation, once red hits that marker green press.

Line of confrontation is set. Defending group (red in image) lets green move the ball as much as they want in there defensive third. If green trys to squeeze pass into the middle, red looks to step and win the ball. If they win the ball can we play a forward pass right away, if not we possess.
Wingers dont cheat out wide. As the ball travels side to side shift.

Defending in a 4-2-3-1
We keep dropping to the line of confrontation, and no deeper then the restraint line. Once they hit this line, we start pressing. Goal is to take away space behind and get compact.
