Agility/Endurance (30 mins)
A:
- Cones are 10 yards apart from eachother
- Players opposite eachother
- 1 ball on opposite sides
- Players side shuffle together over the cones, both feet touch between cones, as soon as one player reaches the ball, it's an instant pass right off of the side shuffle. Player receives it and QUICKLY kills the ball and they go back and repeat.
- 2 minutes non stop, quick 30 second break, and repeat until 10 minutes is done
B)
- 5 x 5 grid
- Player starts at top cone diagonally away from passing player
-Player back shuffles at 100% speed, once reaches cone behind them, the go around the cone and sprint diagonally to cone closest to player, one touch pass the ball back
- Passing player shifts over, player in the grid repeats
- 2 minutes, then switch passing/grid player
- 10 minutes
C)
- 3 gates per lane, 3 lanes.
- gates are 7 yards away from each other and spaced out 3 yards
- All players stand at ready position, this is a race between pairs
- Coach yells go, starting player explodes to middle gate, and small step circles around one cone in gate, side shuffles to other cone, small step circles that cone, side steps between cones and explodes through the end gate and runs back to beginning. As soon as the player is through the far gate, partner goes.
- do this for 2 minutes and see who can get through the most gates and add them up
- Winners get to grab water quickly, losers do 10 burpees then grab water.
- Rotate partners and do for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, rotate players from each section.
