Lead in (15 mins)
Organisation:
- 2 groups of 4 v 2 & 1GK
- Rotate roles
- Reds score by passing the ball through any of the gates to the No8.
- Blues win ball, utilise the No8 if needed to combine and score at GK.
Coaching Points:
Off the ball movements to create space and receive the ball.
No8 movement to receive on the half turn.
Weight of pass - timing, distance & accuracy of passes.

- Directional game
- Play 3 x 5 minute games - First to score 3 goals wins.
Game 1:
- Free Play: Players maintain position, however free movement is allowed.
Game 2:
- Player locked into thirds, only one player can join next third if travelling with the ball or ball passed into that third.
Game 3:
- Free play, players maintain positions and can move freely around the pitch.

Organisation:
- 2 practices of 9 players each
- 5 v 3 & 1GK- Keep possession of the ball (4 passes = 1 point/ dribble through the gates after completing 4 passes.
- Explore combinations to work the ball from the GK to No.4/No.8/ utilising the No5/No6.
- If No.9/No.10 win the ball, rotate with the pair who lost the ball.
Coaching Points:
Scan and check shoulder before receiving.
Receive on the half turn.
Strike centre of the ball with inside/outside of the feet.
Good full follow through.
