** Red light, green light style is just fine for all younger and recreational teams. For older teams, think about how you can structure your core skills sessions in order to achieve the same outcomes while keeping players engaged.**

- 2v1 Dribbling Game
- Team of two begins in possession and looks to dribble ball through either of the 2 gates to score a point.
- If the defender wins possession, they may look to score a point by dribbling through opponents end line.
** Modify the game as necessary. Ensure that space is small enough to encourage dribbling rather than running with the ball. Think about conditions (rules), targets (how they earn points), and challenges (something you want them to do that is not a rule of the game) that you can add or tweak in order to achieve your desired outcome.**

Description:
- Normal Game Rules
- Kick in or dribble in all restarts
- One player from the attacking team must dribble in one side, and out another side of the central box before the team can score.
- When the defending team steals the ball, they have 5 seconds to score a goal in transition, otherwise they must score with the above stated condition.
**Keep in mind: Coach the techniques & mechanics throughout the game. Your players are trying to implement what your asking them to do in difficult situations.**

Crack The Code (10 mins)
Description:
- Give juggling sequence (the code).
- If a player cracks the code give a new code with increased difficulty.
** The best part about juggling is you can always do better. Be sure that we are encouraging our players during the first few weeks of this curriculum and that we are coaching techniques throughout: Use the laces, lock your ankle, strike under the ball, etc. Build the players relationship with the ball**
If you do not have enough soccer balls for each player, please have them begin bringing their ball to each practice in order to maximize touches & development in training.
