  • Separate Players Into 2 Groups & Halve Each Group Into Attackers & Defenders
  • Yellows (Attackers) Start With Football & Try To Dribble Past The Yellow Dotted Line & Cross/Shoot/Pass Into The Goal
  • Blues (Defenders) Try To Stop The Cross/Shot/Pass, Win Possession & T2A To Score In Mini Goal
  • 2.5 Min Rounds x4 - Big Goal = 1 Point / Small Goal = 2 Point / Losing Colour Forfeit

  • 2 CFs For Red & Green & 4 Yellow Wide Attacking Players
  • Coach Calls Any Yellow Player To Start & Play Is Live - Sped Up More Intense Progression Onto Last Practice
  • Defenders React To Where Ball Starts From Create Compact Shape

Coaching Points

  • Double 6 Cutting Passes Into 9/10
  • Backline Not Allowing Attackers To Run Off Them
  • If Penetrative Run From 9/10 Can Our 6/8 Track?
  • Emergency Defending Inside Box

    Method

    • Blues = 1-4-2 / Yellows = 2-3-1 (+2 Overlapping FBs)
    • Play Always Starts With Double 6 Yellow Who Can't Go Past Yellow Dotted Line
    • Objective Is For Blues To Be Compact To Force Pass Wide & To Stop The Attack Being Created In The Wide Area
    • If Blues Win Possession Back They Can T2A To Score In Mini Goal
    Coaching Points

    • Double 6 Cutting Passes Into 9/10
    • Backline Not Allowing Striker Play In Between Them
    • As Pass Moves Wide FB Close & Don't Allow Turn
