Beginning of the practice:
This involves eight players from both teams of Blue and Red and with only four balls only dribbling around a circle.
Both teams pick one player to mark by preventing them from dribbling or going past them.
This practice also improves their fitness not only trying to improve their dribbling skills , attacking and their marking or defending abilities.
This can also be related to a game situation as described on the other screen.
Coaching points:
Being able to dribble in a tight corner
How many dribbling skills can you perform
Dribble with your head up at all times.

Progression:
Making it more of a game situation involving two extra players
5v5 with a total of 10 players on the pitch.
A nut meg will be 5 points with a goal.
An individual goal involving good dribbling skills will be a total of 10 points.
A good team goal involving intrictual passes and dribbling skills will be 7 points.
Dribbling the goal keeper to score will be 4 points.
Coaching points:
When out oof possession, players should move into possession in order to suport the ball carrier so as to progress the play forwards, with a successful dribble.
When receiving the ball, Players need to observe the play in front, So as to decide what to do next their movement.
If it is a dribble, players need to attack with confidence, Movement and speed.
Players should be encouraged to dribble even if it is the right time to or not.
Can the players commit defenders before passing or shooting.
Quality of shooting, pass after a successful dribble..

Warm Up (5 mins)
Warm up:
Set up with two cones which are ten yards away from each other
Ten players involved in the warm up from two seperate teams
Start up with the heel flicks, knees up's, Side steps which involves both the left and right steps
After each exercise are being completed, they jog bacl down to where they started from.
This warm up should only last up to a munite or two approximately.
