TEAM EVALUATION PERFORMANCE ON 08/15/20

Building up

The lack of awareness from the CBs and the MDF to show to receive, where to show, and how to unbalance the opponent in order to receive and play from the back.

The CBs created width, but didnt recognize that they could come inside the 18 to receive once the MDFs didnd offer an option for the GK to play out.

THE GK

As you saw the first game , he is very poor on decision making

Foot work mobility

As well awereness on the ball

THE MFS

Communication

Lack of understanding their roles, as far as whos was holding, who was supporting the attacking players

Couldn't recognize the spair players

Only play one direction (they couldn't recognize the transition phase, and switching the point of attack in time)

The speed of play on counter was very slow, facilitating the opponent to regain possession

THE FWDS

Once we are in possession they stood compact, they did not create the width necessary to play out.

They lack creativity to take one/one

Couldn't understand the unbalance and creating changes to penetrate

Coudn't penetrate due to the lack of understanding that they could use the width and create more ball movements to create gaps to penetrate, they were always giving that extra touch.

First attacker didn't realize that as a spair player he also could affect that defender ( dragging him in to play wide with his support player, however the supporting players also was besides him or behind a defender, don't given any option to combine the passes or creating overloads.

Once they did that, the first attacker didn't recognize and try to do on his own, loosing the ball and causing a counter.

MY FINAL TOUGHTS

I think due to the fact that we started a little late, our kids were behind physicaly, and mentaly for their first game.

Yet I notice a little improovent from the first game.

We got some changes to finish, but the fact of they like that extra touch, cause the opposing team to close they down quikly and steel the ball
