in this session we will work on a defenders positional awareness and what to do when defending dangerous crosses into the box.

Now we will set up as a back 4 and have 4 ball playing points where balls into the box will have to be defended and will stay without attackers until the next part of the session.

now we will add 3 attackers to make it more game realistic but to help them out a goalkeeper will be introduced as well. Now the crossers will have something to aim for and also the back 4 will have to communicate, keep an eye

Now for the game we will try and let it flow as much as possible however the incentive will be goals scorn from crosses are worth 2 goals and the game will be until we have 5 mins left of the entire session to leave time for the cool down.

for the last 5 mins to cool down and to try and prevent injury as much as possible. each person will suggest a stretch and once everyone has done them the session is over.

for the warmup we will ask you to find a partner and simply throw the ball to them either head height for them to header back, knee height for them to control it then pass it back in the same move. this is to prepare them for the session ahead but also get warmed-up and also have a bit of fun with their teammates.
