Warm Up Drill. 30 seconds each
2) Serve and Volley (One line has the ball in hand, lays for a volley back into the arms of first player. Switch after 30 seconds)
3) Thigh and Volley - Same as 2nd stage. (One line has the ball in hand, lays for a control on thight and then volley back into the arms of first player. Switch after 30 seconds)
4) Chest and Volley - Same as 2nd stage. (One line has the ball in hand, lays for a control on the chest and then volley back into the arms of first player. Switch after 30 seconds)
5) Tap and Header - Same as 2nd stage, but touch the ball first with the hand and then drop a couple of steps to jump for the header. (One line has the ball in hand, lays for a header back into the arms of first player. Switch after 30 seconds)
Coaching points
2, 3 & 4) The ball should not touch the ground.
2, 3 & 4) Challenge left and right foot
2, 3 & 4) Open up the body to volley with the instep of the boot
5) Promote good lay up and meeting the ball at the highest point
5) Players should raise their hand for balance and head throughthe ball with the forehead back to the other player

Warm Up Drill. 30 seconds each
6) 2 yard speed passing with Dummy (Nutmeg) and sprint - (Back to speed passing, but this time the passing player shouts go, the receiving player lets the ball pass through their legs, turn and sprint after it (The passing player is only passing the ball 5 yards)

6) Should still be a short pass. The emphasis is the turn and go of the receiving player

7) Slap Knees -Players both get in the defensive position (low, side on) and try to tap each other on the knees)

7) Fun game, just taps to the knees. Warn to be careful for clashed heads.
