Organization:
- 10x20 yard area
- Passer, Attacker, Defende, Target
Instructions:
- Defender must start the play behind the attacker until the ball is passed.
- Attacker checks away first to create space.
- As Attacker makes eye contact/connection with Passer, look to check back towards the ball.
- Passer plays ball into the feet of the Attacker who looks to spin the Defender.
- Attacker plays the ball into the feet of the Target.
- Target invites pressure from the Defender (close down), and plays a give/go with Attacker before continuing to the end.
- Rotation: Passer - Defender - Attacker - Target.
Coaching Points:
- Check away first to create space
- Check shoulder/feel for defender to see which side defender is showing
- Choose correct surface of foot to execute turn
- Head up to locate Target for pass
- Continue to provide angle for give/go with Target
Progressions:
- Remove Target player and replace with a Goal to play 1v1 in the middle.

4v4 in the middle with bumper players on the end-line (extras can be neutral inside)
Instructions:
- Players play in the middle and can utilize bumper players as support to score goals.
- If the ball goes over your defensive endline, you rotate off and a new pair comes on...you are rewarded by staying on if you shoot.
Coaching Points:
- Surface of foot selection to play and receive pass
- Directions of touch to enable next action
- Can team penetrate or play positive?
- Speed of play
