Organization:
Same setup as previous, with the addition of 4 mini goals and 2 defenders
Instructions:
Blue are denoted as defenders
Red are the attacking players
Players score a point as in previous activity but now they have the option to exit to any side they want based on the pressure of the defender
Defenders look to steal the ball and score in one of the counter goals. If the defender is able to score in the counter goal, they get a point.
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Identification of the pressure of defender in relation to entry pass and the touch out of the triangle
-Weight/Direction of the touch out of the triangle- "How does the angle and distance of my touch determine my next action? How do I determine this?"
-Deceptive touch to draw the defender away

Organization:
3v3 with 2 neutrals on flanks
Instructions:
3v3 +2 or 2v2 +4
3v3 or 2v2 game in the main area. if a neutral is played the ball they can enter the grid and become an extra attacker and that team earns 1 point
Once the ball goes out of bounds, the neutral comes back to the sideline
Free movement up and down the sideline for neutral

-Body Shape when receiving the ball to be able drive into space/ get away from pressure
-Support to be able to provide an angle to receive the ball

Regression- Able to create a neutral zone for the neutrals to not be tackled into

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
3-5 triangles scattered throughout the area
6-10 players
1 player in each triangle
Instructions:
Players outside of the triangles start with the ball
Players look to play into one of the players in the triangle, upon playing into the triangle they switch players with the player that is now receiving the ball
Player receiving the ball must exit out of a different side of the triangle than the ball entered through.
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Communication- "How can we communicate with the player in possession to show you are ready to receive the ball?
-Body Positioning to Receive the ball- "To be able to exit out of the triangle in the direction, how can you position you body to receive the ball?
-Surface selection
-Be ready to receive the ball and think about your next step (your first touch outside the triangle must take you there)
