Objective: To prepare the players physically, mentally and emotionally for a game focused on passing and dribbling.
Instructions: In a 10x10 or 15x15 grid, 3-4 players versus 1 player will pass the ball and use 1v1 moves to move away from pressure. This exercise is very flexible. You can have more of less players or focus on passing or 1v1 moves. You might have 1 group or 2 groups.
Time: 10 minutes
Emphasis - Use the 1v1 moves you worked on in practice or use this time to introduce new ones. Players should be moving in grid, not standing still. Move and ask for the ball.

Objective: To prepare the players physically, mentally and emotionally for a game by getting used to shooting and scoring goals.
Instructions: There may not be enough time between games to do this excerise on the field but it can be done with cones as the goal. You can also modify this by having less cones/players if you don't have enough players. Player A passes to Player B. Player B passes to Player C. Player C shoots on goal. Players always follow their pass to take the next position.
Time: 10 minutes
Emphasis - Accurate passing. Focused intensity. Proper shooting technique.
NOTE: It really isn't realistic to have the coach as the central target, passing off balls to players to shoot. I highly recommend using players to make at least one pass to each other before they practice shooting.

Agility Warm Up (10 mins)
Objective: To prepare the players physically, mentally and emotionally for a game.
Instructions: Progression 1 - 2 Lines of players using 3-4 cones for agility and two additionally cones 7 yards away. Players begin by navigating through the 3-4 cones using different agility skills demonstrated by the coach. Then they jog or sprint to the next set of cones. Progression 2- player at the top passes the ball to the player who does agility. They switch positions. Stretch inbetween if needed.
Time: 10 minutes
Emphasis - Sharp agility movements, mentally focused progressing to passing and receiving while moving.
