Organization:
Players in groups of two or three depending on numbers ,1 ball each group 30x20 yard (open) grid.
Instructions:
U9-U10 start with throw in to their partner
U8 ball will remain on the floor
-once the ball is recieved the players will complete 4 passes with their laces then the player left with the ball will now use there inside or outside of the foot to turn and take the touch away from their partner and dribble like one of the foundational carachters (see coaching points for details) taking 10 touches of the ball while there partner follows them always staying 2/3 yards away in space .
-coach will be the judge every team will start with 5 points they will loose point every time a player gets closer than the space set by the coach 2/3 yards to there partener the team with the most points at the end will win have multiple rounds of 2 mins.
Coaching Points:
players keep their eyes on the ball at all times while following their partner

Painting the Picture of each one of the player's characteristics: * MESSI: Head up looking to get into the gaps using small, quick touches with the Pinky Toe (outside of the foot). * XAVI: Head up to recognize when there's no gaps/space, then change of direction (12 o'clock to 6 o'clock), ball comes out of your feet, and then head and eyes up getting into the new space. * RONALDO: Head up to see when there's a lot of space in front of you, then big touch to accelerate and get your head/eyes up and attack the space. *INIESTA : Head up to recognize small tight spaces ,using the inside/outside surfaces of the foot to unbalance defenders to make the space big enough to penetrate.
Progression
after the 4 passes the players will now use the planting foot aim and take a laces pass through their partners legs 25% power award a point for acuracy .

Organization:
1. Area size 15 x 20 or 20x30
Instructions:
1. Players split up into 4 teams and play a round robin tournament where all teams play.
2. players must not step inside the red cone areas infront of goal this will stop goal tending ,the players must shoot from out side the area
Coaching Points:
over the 8 weeks we would like to start to implement:
1. 3 lines of attack, 1 defender, 1 midfielder, 1 forward.
2.Team mates create gaps, can player in possession look to dribble into them.
3.when to Dribble,Pass or Shoot
4.reinforce the caracteristics of each foundational player and how the use the foot work with the space they have.

The restarts this week will start with a kick in, look to reinforce the learning outcomes of the restarts we used on this years development program see bellow list.

Organisation
6 cones with 15x20 spacing as shown above
players form 2 lines and perform coaches commands
players must perform all stretches at a set pace of 25% being their minimum & 100% being their max
Instructions
Reapeat each of the following twice:
Set up A
-player start with 25% running pace to the first cone then rotate back to the same line
-players will then run to the first cone at 25% then on to the second cone at 50% running speed rotating back to there line at 25%
-in the same pace pattern of 25% to 50% perform the stretches below:
*High knees
*Heel kicks
*Open gates
*Close gates
*2 step push off
Set up B
The players must now up the pace pattern 75% -100% performing the stretches below
*Stop start push off
*Forward and Backward push off
*Feint
*Double Feint
*Stop & Change
*Fake & change
*Player race
*ball pass in hands between partners
*Going through the gears 25%-100%
Progression
C) speed rings players must run from oposite sides of the grid and see who can put their foot in their ring first coach will judge 1 point every time they win. after they place their foot have them spin out to the oposite line and excelerate.
D) players will be split into 4 groups as shown above they must run place there foot in the ring and run back and tag the next player inline to go first group to get all players throug the course will win .
E) strike and land players will compete with the partner level with them, they will sprint to the middle cone and using striking movement see how far there power can take them(coaches to demo correct striking pattern and landing to excelerate.
