Organization:

6x6 Squares (Changable depending on age and ability) 3 v 1

8 players

1 ball per square

Instructions:

Keep ball away from defender using handling techniques.

If defending GK catches or deflects the ball they swap with the GK who lost the ball.

18 yard box as shown with 2 goals facing

Instructions:

GK's try to score on each other.

Players can shoot with any type of service - shot, volley, half volley, throw.

Play continues until a goal is scored. If a goal is scored, the conceding GK quickly swaps out with the next GK on his/her team.

The GK who scored can shoot again at any time and does not have to wait for the next GK to be ready. This ensures all GK's remain focussed.

1 player from each team can be allocated to collect any rebounds from the opposition GK. These players can score if the ball comes to them.

Play continues for a certain amount of time/until all opposition GK's have conceded or up until a certain score.

Move quickly in line with the ball

Move down the ball line to close the angle

Get set as the server strikes the ball

Correct diving/handling technique

Catch, parry or deflect

Recover quickly
