Place one cone in the middle of the pitch, split players into two groups and tell groups to stand in opposing corners. One player from each corner start at the same time, running to the cone, dribbling around the cone and the back to their corner. The next player then goes etc. When all players have done one repetition the team has finished, first to finish wins.

Set Up:
Two lines of players start at one end of a 20 x 20 yard grid with several 3 yard triangular shaped Battle Stars spread out on the inside. The coach starts with all the balls and places himself between the two teams. When the coach puts a ball in play, one player from each team tries to win it and stop it in any of the Stars. When a ball is stopped in any Star the star is destroyed and the player takes the star as points for their team, the team with the most stars wins.

Start with some 1V1 matching the players on ability, allow players to play for 60 seconds and then rotate.
Finish with a small sided game. 3v3 or 4v4 with standard rules. Emphasis for today in the matches is passing forward, in Saturdays matches there was a lot of passing backwards from the dead ball which made it easy for the opposition. Also players are trying to hard to play long passes, encourage players to come short to receive the ball rather than kicking it back to the opposition.

Place the balls in the middle of the circle and make sure you have one less ball than you have players. The players start on the outside of the circle and they are not allowed to go into the circle until the coach says go. When the coach says go, the players can sprint to the balls. Because there is one less soccer ball, one player will be left without a ball. The player without the ball is then removed from the game. Every round you will need to remove one ball.
