Organisation of game (10 min)
2 boxes 5 yeards apart (size depends upon numbers)
2 even teams - Players numbered 1 upwards
Number of balls on the outside with coach
Coach shouts a number eg 3 - player number 3 from other box enters the other box with the intention of getting the ball off the team in possession by either tackling it out of the box or more desireably by getting the ball in to their own box. If they get the ball they must either pass or run the ball in to the box and then they can attack the goal
If the defending players can keet the ball for a desired amount of time (10 /15 / 20 passes) they can then attack the goal.
Goal Keeper needs to be very aware as this can mean 2 players coming at him at the same time...
Session can be used for a variety of outcomes
Possession
Passing
Movement off the ball
Transition
Attacking quickly
Etc
Key coaching points will depend upon the outcomes you want.
