4 Goal Game SSG 1v1s ( 20 Min, whole field )
ORGANIZATION: 10-12 Players each partnered against a player from the other team.
The players play a 1v1 minigame with the opposing player from the team, all games
go on at the same time. Group to ability. Four pug nets, two on each
end line in the corners. One team scores on ones side of the field, the other team on
the other side of the field.
Procedure :Two teams try to score on the two pug nets on the
opposite end line. ONLY YOUR PARTNER CAN TAKE THE BALL
OFF OF YOU, and each pair has a ball between them.
Question to ask: How can we use dribbling techniques to beat a man?
Emphasize changing directions and turning with the ball with the two
nets present. Attack with speed, when do run with the ball, and when
to dribble.
Question to ask: If a defender is covering one side, can we use our
body to change direction and dribble the ball the other way, can we
be tricky whilst dribbling?
Question to ask: If we have beaten the man and there is
space in front of us, should we be running with the ball or dribbling?
