Organization:
Use cones to make a 10 yd box. 2-3 players on each side of the box. One ball per group
Instructions:
Player dribbles to one cone, makes a sharp turn (inside cut or V-move), dribbles to the other cone, makes another sharp turn, then passes across the channel to the next player, who does the same thing.
Coaching Points:
- speed before the turn
- exaggerate body movement to sell the fake
- quick turn
- get the ball out of your feet
Progressions:
- add a shadow defender
- increase tempo by making it a team competition, 1 pt for each pass across. Play for 2 min.

Instructions:
Gray attacks, blue defends. The first two from each team go 1v1 with gray able to score in either goal. Keep playing until a goal is scored or the ball goes out and then repeat with the next two players. Switch attackers and defenders each round. Closer goal is worth 1 point, further goal worth 2. Keep total team score.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of first touch (Direction - towards goal, Weight)
- Use defender's momentum against them
- Overexaggerate body motion to help fake the defender
- Finish!
Progressions:
- Switch goals to other side (as in the right half, above) so as to work both feet.

Instructions:
Phase 1: start w/ pregame warmup, 2 players at a time: butt kicks, high kicks, open/close the gate, etc
Phase 2:
- 2 teams, one attacks, one defends
- attacker's job is to get to one end (beginning or far side) before defender - once attacker gets halfway he can change direction
- tie goes to the defender
Coaching Points:
- attack with speed
- use defender's momentum against him
- quick change of direction to beat the defender
- overexaggerate body movement to help fake defender
