Organization:
-3 areas of 20x10 set up as shown
-3 groups of players
-6 Pugg goals or 12 cones for 6x goals
Instructions:
-Players placed in groups depending upon skill level
-Individual competition between players of each group
-Player at front of line receives a pass from the defender then the play goes live on the attackers first touch. the attacker tries to beat defender and scores to gain a point for him/herself.
-If goal is scored/ball goes out of play/ball that 1v1 game is over, the attacker becomes the defender, and the next attacker comes into field to try and score
-If the defender steels they will then transition and try to score in the oposite goal as shown above.
-If player uses a moves successfully and scores, they gain 3 points.
-Player from each group with most amount of points wins.
Coaching Points:
-Good positive first touch
-Controlled approach
-Observe defenders position
-Attackers defenders front foot
-Execution of move
-Take touch back across the defender and accelerate away
-creat space to shoot.
Progression
the player can now beat the defender to and score without entering the endzone

Organization:
20x10 grid
GK if possible or rotate players as GK
players in groups with spare balls
have multiple grids set up based on numbers 4 players per group
Instructions:
the GK plays a pass out to the attacker the attacker who then dribbles into the endzone and trys to score
once the attacker enters the end zone the GK goes live the attacking player only has two touches to score when he enters the zone.
2 points for a goal in the pugs and 1 point for a goal in between the pugs
Coaching Points:
Observe the GK
Choose correct surface based on the position of the GK
High and in top corner of near post (tough position for GK to guard against)
Across goal if have gap (use inside of foot to curl) or team mates are coming in
Ball movement to shift GK
Deception of body to move GK
Observing and judging the speed of the GK (is the chip on? Or slide past him either side)
Can you finish early?
Can you look to unbalance the GK and if so can you exploit by taking a big
Progressions:
once the attacker gets in the endzone they only have on touch to finish
take away endzone and the gk goes live on the attackers first touch encourage the early shot or 1v1 with keeper to finish.

1. 30 x 20 Area Size.
2. 2 groups of 6 players.
3. 2 teams in each group.
Instructions:
1v1 player A is looking to beat player B using a move to create space to shoot
Coaching Points:
1. Attack space ahead (bigger 1st touch) creating space to shoot.
2. Head up to see defenders position.
3. Protect ball if continue to dribble (put body between defender and ball).
Progressions:
remove the yellow lines and combine groups to play 2v2 with transition. coach will serve the ball

Organization:
1. Area size 30 x 20.
Instructions:
1. Players from each age group are split up into teams and play a round robin tournament where all teams play. (pick team names)
2. have a station set up with a cone where the teams will run back to once there games are done and sit in a straight line to give there scores and earn bonus points for trivia questions.
3.3 point for a win 2 points for a tie and 1 point for a loss. the team with the most points at the end wins if you have a tie that team will play a final and maybe to pens if theres no score.
4.games will run for 5 mins each
5. players must not step inside the red cone areas infront of goal this will stop goal tending ,the players must shoot from out side the area also
Coaching Points:
1. 3 lines of attack, 1 defender, 1 midfielder, 1 forward.
2.Team mates create gaps, can player in possession look to dribble into them.

Instructions:
Coach calls out go, players will messi dribble towards the cone infront, they will perform a xavi turn around the cone then shoot into their goal.
the players are only alowed 1 touch after their turn before they shoot.
Next person doesn't go until ball is in the net.
the team who gets all of the balls in the net first wins.
if a player misses they go to the back of the line and try again.
Coaching Points:
Shooting - Driven
Angle of approach – off center
Head up to observe the position of the goalkeeper
Head down at the point of contact
Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball
Ankle locked, toe down
Contact ball – will vary depending on target area
Contact foot – laces (instep)
Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact
Follow through landing on striking foot
Progression
the balls now start in the middle the players go one at a time and must run and get a ball out of the middle square and shoot the team with the most balls wins.
if they miss the ball must go back in the middle.
